Essential Supplies for 200 Transgender Individuals During COVID-19

On September 30, 2020, Makkal Sakthi Iyakkam, with support from the Tamil Nadu Slum Clearance Board, distributed rice, pulses, groceries, and face masks to about 200 transgender individuals in Kannagi Nagar, affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. The event was inaugurated by Social Development Officer Mr. Airport Murthy, with local leaders and community members in attendance.
