DESCRIPTION:On April 11\, 2023\, in observance of National Safe Motherhood Day\, the Chengalpattu District Collector\, on behalf of the Makkal Sakthi Iyakkam (People’s Power Movement)\, distributed fruits and nutrient-rich foods to pregnant women and breastfeeding mothers. Following this\, Mr. S. Ruben\, M.A.B.L.\, lawyer at the Chennai High Court and Chief Legal Advisor of the Makkal Sakthi Iyakkam\, released a National Safe Motherhood Day awareness leaflet. Subsequently\, on behalf of the movement\, additional fruits and nutrient-rich foods were distributed to the pregnant and breastfeeding mothers
