DESCRIPTION:On October 16\, 2023\, in observance of World Food Day\, Makkal Sakthi Iyakkam distributed food packets to workers employed under the 100-Day Employment Scheme at the Perumbakkam Panchayat Union office. The event\, inaugurated by Panchayat President Mrs. Sukasini Rangarajan\, was conducted under the leadership of Dr. Kalaimagan S. Venkatesan\, with Mr. Balu (alias Rangarajan) also present. This initiative continues the movement’s tradition of supporting economically disadvantaged individuals and sanitation workers with food aid.
