SUMMARY:Tree Planting Initiatives by the All People Shakti Movement
DESCRIPTION:For the past few years\, the All People Shakti Movement has been actively engaged in tree planting activities across various locations. \nOn December 4\, 2022\, approximately 200 saplings of 12 different species were planted in the residential areas of the Tamil Nadu Urban Habitat Development Board in Murugamangalam. Following this\, on February 24\, 2024\, more saplings were planted in areas surrounding Perumbakkam. \nIn addition to planting trees\, the movement provided awareness to the community about the benefits of tree planting. Over 100 residents received saplings to encourage their participation in this green initiative.

The achievements and inspirational thoughts of Dr. Kalam were shared with students\, and a short film about his life was screened. Notebooks were then distributed to students\, and scholarships were awarded to approximately 70 first-year college students. Sweets were also distributed to all attendees.
