DESCRIPTION:On April 18\, 2023\, in observance of World Heritage Day\, the Makkal Sakthi Iyakkam (People’s Power Movement) raised awareness among the public about the importance of preserving our heritage sites and traditional arts. A petition emphasizing the need to safeguard these cultural assets was submitted to the Chennai District Collector. Following this\, the World Heritage Day awareness leaflet was presented to Mr. K. Venkatesan\, President of the Tamil Nadu Secretariat Association\, who extended his best wishes for the initiative.
