SUMMARY:Equal Pongal Celebrations and Support for Women and the Needy
DESCRIPTION:For several years\, the All People Shakti Movement has been celebrating Equal Pongal. In this tradition\, on January 14\, 2023\, and again on January 13\, 2024\, Pongal festivities were held in the Perumbakkam A.H. Block residential area. \nDuring these celebrations\, over 300 women received sarees\, and various forms of assistance and incentives were provided to the needy. The events were attended by senior officials from the government and police department\, as well as leaders and members of the movement\, alongside the residents of the Perumbakkam area. This initiative aims to promote equality and support for marginalized communities during festive occasions.
