On January 1, 2024, to celebrate the New Year, Makkal Sakthi Iyakkam organized an event in the A.H. Block residential area of Perumbakkam. The event featured the release of doves as a symbol of peace and harmony among people worldwide. Various activities promoting love, peace, unity, and support for children were also conducted. The celebration was attended by residents of the A.H. Block, students, and members of the movement.
