On February 24, 2024, an awareness program was held to educate the public and students about checking the expiry dates of food items before purchase. The event took place behind the A.H. Block residential area in Perumbakkam. Students from the Perumbakkam and Semmancheri areas participated, distributing notices issued by the Makkal Sakthi Iyakkam, urging everyone with the slogan, “Do not buy expired food products.
