On December 17, 2023, in anticipation of Christmas, ELIM AG Church and Makkal Sakthi Iyakkam hosted the inaugural Christmas celebration event at the A.H. Block residential area, Perumbakkam. The event featured special prayers, Christmas carols, a Santa Claus appearance, and welfare aid distribution for underprivileged families. Led by Rev. A. Gunasekaran, with Dr. Kalaimagan S. Venkatesan presiding, the celebration saw a large turnout from the community.
