On March 15, 2023, in celebration of World Consumer Rights Day, an awareness program focusing on the fundamental rights of all consumers was held in the Perumbakkam residential area.

The event, organized by the All People Shakti Movement, saw participation from police officials, lawyers, social activists, local residents, and students. Additionally, prizes and certificates were awarded to students who delivered outstanding speeches on consumer rights, recognizing their efforts in promoting awareness about this important issue.
